Clark County Overview
Clark County Jail Mugshots Roster
The Clark County jail roster is the main place to look up current inmates and their booking photos. The roster lets you filter by Book Date, CFN, Name, Location, Release Date, or Charges. Each row shows the inmate name, book date, housing pod, any release date, and the charge. Pods range from A through H plus M, JDH, and Skamania. The list is updated all day as new bookings come in and inmates leave.
You can use the roster to find both pre-trial and sentenced inmates. Charge types range from DUI and assault to burglary, theft, and more serious cases. The tool is free and does not need a login.
For booking photos tied to specific cases, the Sheriff also runs an inmate search on its detention page. This tool lets you search by name or booking number and shows charges, bail, arresting agency, and court dates. The Clark County Jail in Vancouver is where most of Clark County's jail mugshots come from. Bookings list fingerprints, mugshots, and charge details per RCW 70.48.100.

Search Clark County Booking Photos
Looking for older Clark County booking photos means pulling records from several sources. The current roster only shows who is in custody right now. For past arrests, you need to request records directly from the Sheriff's Office or VPD. Booking records are public under RCW 10.97, the Criminal Records Privacy Act.
For a statewide search, the Washington State Patrol WATCH system runs criminal history lookups online. A name-based search costs $11.00 and returns results right away. A fingerprint-based check costs $58.00 and gives a more accurate match. Clark County law enforcement agencies feed arrest fingerprints into the Washington State Identification System, so WATCH is a solid way to find older records. Conviction records and pending arrests less than a year old are all public.
Tip: Older booking photos may not be available online. You can file a public records request with the Sheriff's Office to get mugshots from past arrests in Clark County.
