Kitsap County Jail Inmate Roster

The Kitsap County Sheriff's Office corrections page hosts the online jail roster. This is the first place to check for current bookings. Kitsap County processes people from Bremerton, Port Orchard, and Poulsbo, plus all the small towns and unincorporated land. The jail contracts with Poulsbo and a few other cities for holding arrestees. If a person was booked anywhere in the county, they most likely show up on this roster. If not, check VINELink or call the jail direct.

The older roster lived at the In Custody page on the main county site. That page now redirects. The current roster is posted through the sheriff's corrections site. If you get a redirect or a 404, head to kcso.kitsapgov.com and click on corrections.

Note: Kitsap County jail mugshots online may not include every booking, so contact the jail direct if you cannot find the person you want.

Kitsap County Jail Facility

The Kitsap County Jail is at 614 Division Street in Port Orchard. The jail runs 24 hours a day. It holds both men and women. The jail takes in people arrested by the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office, Bremerton Police, Poulsbo Police, and any other agency working in the county.

The corrections side of the sheriff's office does more than lock people up. Staff provide medical and mental health care inside the jail. A Medication Assisted Treatment program helps people with opioid addiction. Staff also do behavioral health assessments, referrals to inpatient and outpatient treatment, veteran services, and re-entry support. When someone is released, the re-entry team can help with food, insurance, and housing. Pregnant women, domestic violence victims, and trafficking victims also get help.

Jail mugshots and booking photos are public under RCW 42.56. But under RCW 70.48.100 some details about individual inmates are limited. Only the name, booking date and time, reason for booking, release date and time, and reason for release can be released without a court order.
