SeaTac Jail Mugshots Search

SeaTac jail mugshots come from arrests made around the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and nearby King County neighborhoods. SeaTac does not run its own jail. The city is a King County Sheriff contract city and also a SCORE jail member, so booking may go to the King County Jail, the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent, or the SCORE jail in Des Moines. This page shows you how to search for SeaTac inmate booking photos, arrest records, and jail roster entries through the right lookup tool for each site.

SeaTac Police Services

The SeaTac Police Department is a contract agency. The King County Sheriff's Office provides all day-to-day police services to SeaTac. Deputies are assigned to SeaTac full time but report through KCSO. The police station is at 4800 S. 188th Street, SeaTac, WA 98188. You can call 206-973-4900 for SeaTac police assistance or 206-296-3311 for the non-emergency dispatch line.

Because SeaTac is a KCSO contract city, police records are held by the sheriff, not the city. To request a SeaTac jail mugshot or arrest report, you go to the King County Sheriff's Office Public Disclosure team. The city's own police and accident reports page points records requesters to the KCSO records request portal.

Traffic collision reports are available from the Washington State Patrol instead. Some non-emergency crimes may be reported online through the KCSO online reporting system. Annual police services reports are published on the city website. Note: SeaTac does not keep its own police file room, which is why all records requests flow through KCSO.

King County Jail Inmate Lookup

The King County Sheriff's Office runs the main inmate roster that covers all SeaTac bookings into county facilities.

SeaTac jail mugshots Maleng Regional Justice Center

Many SeaTac arrestees are held at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent before their first court date.

The fastest way to find a SeaTac jail mugshot is the King County Jail inmate lookup. The online roster shows all people currently held in King County facilities. Search by name. Results include the booking photo, charges, bail amount, and release info. It updates several times a day and is free to use.

SeaTac arrestees may be booked at the King County Correctional Facility in downtown Seattle or at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent. Both sites have daily booking logs. If you cannot find a person in the live roster, the booking may be in progress, or the person may have been moved to another facility.

For older booking photos that no longer show on the live roster, file a public records request with the King County Sheriff. The King County Sheriff's Office public disclosure team handles those requests. Fees and timelines are set per the Washington Public Records Act at RCW 42.56.

SCORE Jail and SeaTac

SeaTac is also a member of the South Correctional Entity (SCORE) jail. SCORE is a multi-city jail in Des Moines, Washington. It holds people arrested by member cities for misdemeanor and local charges. SeaTac pays into SCORE as part of its jail services plan. Some SeaTac arrestees may end up at SCORE rather than the King County Jail, depending on the charge.

SCORE has its own inmate roster you can check. It shows the booking date, charges, and release info for people held at the Des Moines site. The jail is at 20817 17th Avenue S, Des Moines, WA 98198. SCORE is run by a joint board of the member cities and follows the Washington jail register law at RCW 70.48.100.

Note: When you are looking for a SeaTac jail mugshot, it helps to check both the King County roster and the SCORE roster, since either site may hold the person.

Arrest and Booking Records

A SeaTac booking record holds the basic info the state requires every jail to make public. These fields let you confirm the person in custody, the charges, and when they will be out or in court next. You can use them to track a case from arrest through the first court date.

Typical SeaTac booking record fields:

  • Full name and birth date
  • Booking photo
  • Arrest date and arresting agency
  • Charge list and case number
  • Bail or bond amount
  • Court date
  • Release status

Criminal history data has added limits under RCW Chapter 10.97. Nonconviction records may be withheld from some requesters. Basic booking info is still open to the public in most cases.

Court Cases from SeaTac

Misdemeanor cases from SeaTac are typically filed in the King County District Court, southwest division. Felony cases move to the King County Superior Court in Seattle or at the Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent. You can search both through the state online tool.

The Washington Courts case search is the public tool for looking up any case in the state court system. It covers district, municipal, and superior courts. Results show the case number, status, hearing dates, and party info. Pair it with the King County or SCORE roster to match an arrest to a court case.

DOC and Victim Tools

If a SeaTac arrestee is sentenced to state prison, the case moves out of the county and SCORE jail systems. At that point, the Washington Department of Corrections inmate search is the right lookup. DOC handles all long-term inmates in state prisons.

Victims can sign up for VINELink, the free victim notification system. VINE alerts you when an inmate is moved, released, or transferred. For full statewide conviction history, the WATCH system from the Washington State Patrol is the state's main paid tool, used under the rules in RCW 10.97.040.
